1. Except upon the terms, conditions, limitations, and restrictions as set forth by the commission, it is unlawful for any person to use, enjoy the privileges of, destroy, injure, or deface plant life, trees, buildings, or other natural or material property; to construct or operate for private or commercial purposes any structure; to remove any plant life, trees, buildings, sand, gravel, ice, earth, stone, wood, or other natural material; or to operate vehicles within the boundaries of any state park, preserve, or stream or any other lands or waters under the jurisdiction of the commission for any purpose whatsoever.

Terms Used In Iowa Code 461A.35
- Commission: means the natural resource commission. See Iowa Code 462A.2
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Operate: means to navigate or otherwise use a vessel or motorboat. See Iowa Code 462A.2
- Person: means an individual, partnership, firm, corporation, or association. See Iowa Code 462A.2
- property: includes personal and real property. See Iowa Code 4.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Use: means to operate, navigate, or employ a vessel. See Iowa Code 462A.2
2. A person who violates this section commits a simple misdemeanor, punishable as a scheduled violation pursuant to section 805.8B, subsection 6, paragraph “c”.
