- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
678.1 Agreed statement of facts.
Parties to a question in difference, which might be the subject of a civil action, may, without
action, present an agreed statement of the facts to any court having jurisdiction of the subject matter.
