Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 60-5508

  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

(a) The provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. 2023 Supp. 60-5504, 60-5505 and 60-5507, and amendments thereto, shall apply retroactively to any cause of action accruing on or after March 12, 2020.

(b) The provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. 2023 Supp. 60-5506, and amendments thereto, and the amendments made to Kan. Stat. Ann. 2021 Supp. 60-5506 by section 2 of 2021 House Bill No. 2126, shall apply retroactively to any cause of action accruing on or after March 12, 2020, and prior to termination of the state of disaster emergency related to the COVID-19 public health emergency declared pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 48-924, and amendments thereto.

(c) The provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. 2023 Supp. 60-5503, and amendments thereto, shall apply retroactively to any cause of action accruing on or after March 12, 2020, and prior to March 31, 2022.
