Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 66-154b

  • Common carrier: means any common carrier, as defined in Kan. See Kansas Statutes 66-1,215
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Person: means any individual, partnership, corporation or other association of persons. See Kansas Statutes 66-1,158

It shall be lawful for any common carrier to refund to any person, company or corporation any unreasonable, unfair, unjust or unjustly discriminatory or unduly preferential rate or charge which it has exacted, received or collected from any shipper, in accordance with the certificate referred to in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 66-154a, and amendments thereto.
