Any such city may use any sums available in its general fund for such purpose and may further levy a tax each year on all taxable tangible property in such city for the purpose of acquiring, establishing or maintaining such buildings, rooms or facilities and to pay a portion of the principal and interest on bonds issued by such city under the authority of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 12-1774, and amendments thereto.
