In the event that any license plate, certificate of title or registration receipt issued hereunder, shall be lost, mutilated, or shall have become illegible, the person who is entitled thereto shall make immediate application for and obtain a duplicate therefor, upon furnishing information of such fact satisfactory to the division and upon payment of the required fees: Namely, the same fees for certificate of title, registration receipt and license plates as listed in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 8-139, and amendments thereto.
