(1) The legislative and judicial branches of state government shall implement, maintain, and update reasonable security and breach investigation procedures and practices, including taking any appropriate corrective action, to protect and safeguard against security breaches consistent with KRS § 61.931 to KRS § 61.934.
(2) The Department for Libraries and Archives shall establish procedures for the appropriate disposal or destruction of records that include personal information pursuant to the authority granted the Department for Libraries and Archives under KRS § 171.450.
