Any payments made to any persons claiming an interest in an unclaimed pari-mutuel ticket, and any necessary expense including, but not limited to, administrative costs, advertising costs, court costs and attorney‘s fees, required to be paid by the racing commission in administering or enforcing the provisions of KRS § 230.361 to KRS § 230.373 shall be deducted from sums received by the racing commission prior to payment to the Kentucky Racing Health and Welfare Fund.
