Examination for a certificate of competency or a national board commission for boiler inspectors or special boiler inspectors shall be in writing and shall be given and monitored by the boiler inspection section of the division. Examinations are given on the first Wednesday and Thursday of the months of March, June, September and December of each year. The record of an applicant’s examination shall be accessible to said applicant and his employer.

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 236.090
- boiler: shall include fired units for heating or vaporizing liquids other than water where these units are separate from processing systems and are complete within themselves:
(a) "Power boiler" means a boiler in which steam or other vapor is generated at a pressure of more than fifteen (15) pounds per square inch gauge. See Kentucky Statutes 236.010 - Division: means the Division of Plumbing in the department. See Kentucky Statutes 236.010
