Any person violating any of the provisions of KRS § 252.180 to KRS § 252.240 shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100). In addition to the penalty hereinbefore provided, bees or combs, used hives, or other used apiary appliances brought into this state in violation of the provisions of KRS § 252.180 to KRS § 252.240 shall be confiscated and destroyed.
