In addition to the sanctions set out in KRS § 309.086, the board may impose the following sanctions on licensees, certificate holders, or registrants who violate the provisions of KRS § 309.080 to KRS § 309.089 or administrative regulations promulgated pursuant to those sections:
(1) Suspend a license, certificate, or registration for a period of up to five (5) years; and
(2) Impose a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000).
