Agreements with an individual to provide the services of executioner for the Department of Corrections shall not be subject to the provisions of KRS § 45A.690 to KRS § 45A.725. The identity of an individual performing the services of executioner shall remain confidential and shall not be considered as public record for the purposes of KRS § 61.870 to KRS § 61.884.
