Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 22:1459

  • commissioner: shall mean the commissioner of insurance. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 22:1451
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.

While conducting any examination or investigation, under La. Rev. Stat. 22:1458 or otherwise as may be provided by provisions of this Subpart, the commissioner of insurance may obtain testimony or records or other materials under the powers he possesses in La. Rev. Stat. 22:1990 and 1991.  The provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 22:1994 shall apply to any testimony, record, or other material obtained under the provisions of this Section.
