- Employment service: means a person who for a fee:
(a) Offers or attempts to procure, directly or indirectly, employment for an applicant or candidate. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 23:101
- Secretary: means the secretary of the commission. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 23:1
A. The assistant secretary shall have power to regulate and supervise the operation of the business of employment services and to make, prescribe, and enforce orders, rules, and regulations to effectuate the purpose of this Part.
B. Before any rule or regulation is adopted, amended, or repealed, a copy thereof shall be sent to each licensed employment service and a public hearing shall be held in accordance with La. Rev. Stat. 49:950 et seq.
