Upon presentation of the surety bond provided for in La. Rev. Stat. 35:194 to any clerk of court and ex-officio recorder of mortgages, the clerk shall file the bond, and upon application by any interested party, shall cancel and erase in full from the records of his office any bond with personal surety recorded in the mortgage records of his office, and likewise any special mortgage executed and recorded by any notary public, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties as notary.
