Corporations, described in La. Rev. Stat. 45:64, shall have a right of way not exceeding six hundred feet wide for the building and construction, and laying out of canals, lateral ditches, and conduits, under, over, and across all public lands and not exceeding fifty feet for hydroelectric lines.
