As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [PL 1993, c. 425, §2 (NEW).]
1. Clearinghouse. “Clearinghouse” means the Missing Children Information Clearinghouse established pursuant to section 2155.

Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 25 Sec. 2153

  • Missing child report: means a report prepared on a form designated by the department for use by private citizens and law enforcement agencies to report information about missing children to the clearinghouse. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 25 Sec. 2153
  • 2. Commissioner. “Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Public Safety.
