As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [PL 1989, c. 216, §2 (NEW).]
1. Commission. “Commission” means the Commission on Municipal Deorganization as described in section 7206.

Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 7201
- Commission: means the Commission on Municipal Deorganization as described in section 7206. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 7201
- Executive director: means the Executive Director of the Legislative Council. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 7201
- Local committee: means the local deorganization committee created under section 7203. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 7201
- Municipality: means a city, town, village or plantation with a population of more than 50 people. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 7201
- Town: includes cities and plantations, unless otherwise expressed or implied. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
2. Executive director. “Executive director” means the Executive Director of the Legislative Council.
