Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 39-A Sec. 612
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- occupational disease: means only a disease that is due to causes and conditions characteristic of a particular trade, occupation, process or employment and that arises out of and in the course of employment. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 39-A Sec. 603
- occupational hearing loss: means a sensorineural loss of hearing in one or both ears due to prolonged exposure to injurious noise in employment. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 39-A Sec. 612
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
