Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 7 Sec. 1012
- Agent: means any person who sells or distributes potatoes or rotation crops in commerce for or on behalf of producers or others and whose operations may include the planting, cultivating, harvesting, grading, packing and furnishing containers, supplies or other services. - Applicant: means any person applying for a license under this Article. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 7 Sec. 1012
- Broker: means any person engaged in the business of negotiating sales of potatoes in commerce for or on behalf of the seller or the purchaser, respectively. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 7 Sec. 1012
- Buyer: means any person other than a consumer who purchases or contracts to purchase potatoes or rotation crops. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 7 Sec. 1012
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Dealer: means any person engaged in the business of buying or selling potatoes or rotation crops in wholesale or jobbing quantities in commerce and includes:
