The following commissions and councils are transferred by a type I transfer to the department of agriculture.
(a) The Michigan state apple commission created by Act No. 87 of the Public Acts of 1939, as amended, being section 290.51 to 290.66 of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
Terms Used In Michigan Laws 16.283
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
(b) The Michigan cherry commission created by Act No. 228 of the Public Acts of 1947, as amended, being section 290.501 to 290.514 of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
(c) The Michigan potato industry council created by Act No. 208 of the Public Acts of 1961, being section 290.181 to 290.191 of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
(d) The Michigan bean commission created under Act No. 114 of the Public Acts of 1965, being section 290.551 to 290.568 of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
