Terms Used In Michigan Laws 16.287

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     The Michigan state agricultural society created by Act No. 180 of the Public Acts of 1849, being section 453.51 to 453.53 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, is transferred by a type III transfer to the department of agriculture.
