Terms Used In Michigan Laws 16.286

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.      The board of managers of the Upper Peninsula state fair created by Act No. 89 of the Public Acts of 1927, as amended, being section 285.141 and 285.142 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, is transferred by a type II transfer to the department of agriculture.
