All powers, duties and functions of the Michigan corporation and securities commission under the provisions of Act No. 208 of the Public Acts of 1953, as amended, being section 338.971 to 338.991 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, and Act No. 383 of the Public Acts of 1965, as amended, being section 338.1501 to 338.1519 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, relating to residential building contractors, are transferred by a type I transfer to the department of licensing and regulation.
