Terms Used In Michigan Laws 409.321

  • Committee: means the Michigan civilian conservation corps partnership steering committee created in section 22. See Michigan Laws 409.321
  • Corps: means the Michigan civilian conservation corps established pursuant to this chapter. See Michigan Laws 409.321
  • Department: means the department of natural resources. See Michigan Laws 409.321
  • Director: means the director of the department. See Michigan Laws 409.321
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Resident: means an individual who has in this state the individual's true, fixed, and permanent home and principal establishment to which the individual intends to return whenever absent. See Michigan Laws 409.321
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
    As used in this chapter:
    (a) “Committee” means the Michigan civilian conservation corps partnership steering committee created in section 22.
    (b) “Corps” means the Michigan civilian conservation corps established pursuant to this chapter.
    (c) “Corpsmember” means a participant in the corps.
    (d) “Department” means the department of natural resources.
    (e) “Director” means the director of the department.
    (f) “Resident” means an individual who has in this state the individual’s true, fixed, and permanent home and principal establishment to which the individual intends to return whenever absent. An individual is a resident until the individual establishes a permanent establishment outside this state.
