Subdivision 1.Beneficiary and survivor data.
The following data on beneficiaries and survivors of the St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund Association members are private data on individuals: home address, date of birth, direct deposit number, and tax withholding data.
Subd. 2.Limits on disclosure.
Required disclosure of data about members, survivors, and beneficiaries is limited to name, gross annuity or benefit amount, and type of annuity or benefit awarded.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 13.632
- Annuity: A periodic (usually annual) payment of a fixed sum of money for either the life of the recipient or for a fixed number of years. A series of payments under a contract from an insurance company, a trust company, or an individual. Annuity payments are made at regular intervals over a period of more than one full year.
- Data on individuals: means all government data in which any individual is or can be identified as the subject of that data, unless the appearance of the name or other identifying data can be clearly demonstrated to be only incidental to the data and the data are not accessed by the name or other identifying data of any individual. See Minnesota Statutes 13.02
- Tax: means any fee, charge, exaction, or assessment imposed by a governmental entity on an individual, person, entity, transaction, good, service, or other thing. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
