1. Upon withdrawal from service, any member who is not entitled to a normal annuity, deferred normal annuity or disability benefits pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall forfeit all rights in the fund, including the member’s accrued creditable service as of the date of the member’s withdrawal.
2. A former employee who is employed on or after August 28, 2002, who has forfeited service shall have the forfeited period of service restored after receiving creditable service continuously for one year.
