Terms Used In Missouri Laws 104.516
- Department: any department or agency of the executive, legislative or judicial branch of the state of Missouri receiving state appropriations, including allocated funds from the federal government but not including any body corporate or politic unless its employees are eligible for retirement coverage from a system pursuant to this chapter as otherwise provided by law. See Missouri Laws 104.010
- Disability benefits: benefits paid to any employee while totally disabled as provided in this chapter. See Missouri Laws 104.010
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the department of conservation shall continue to contribute toward monthly costs for insurance benefits to cover medical expenses for each uniformed agent in the protection division receiving disability benefits for a job related illness or injury pursuant to the provisions of section 104.518 the same amount which would have been contributed by the state on such person‘s behalf if on active service as a uniformed agent. The reimbursement shall continue as long as the uniformed agent is receiving disability benefits.
