Terms Used In Missouri Laws 186.067

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

If the humanities council receives any state funds pursuant to the provisions of sections 186.050 to 186.067, the council shall furnish the director of the department of economic development and the oversight division of the committee on legislative research, within sixty days after the end of each fiscal year, with an annual report and accounting of the funds received and expended by the council during the immediate prior fiscal year and may furnish recommendations and suggestions for improvement in programs and services provided pursuant to the provisions of sections 186.050 to 186.067.
