- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any dissolution, liquidation, or rehabilitation of a corporation subject to the provisions of sections 354.010 to 354.380 shall be instituted and carried out pursuant to the provisions of chapter 355 to the extent that the same are not inconsistent with the provisions of sections 354.010 to 354.380.
