- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
A nonrenewable temporary license may be issued for a period not to exceed ninety days in cases where an applicant has theretofore filed a completed application for a license, has secured an appointment by a corporation subject to the provisions of sections 354.010 to 354.380, has paid the applicable fees and where the director is satisfied as to the applicant’s business reputation.
