Terms Used In Missouri Laws 67.475

  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The total amount of city or county general obligation bond indebtedness incurred for improvements under sections 67.453 to 67.475, including temporary notes issued pursuant to sections 67.453 to 67.475, shall not exceed ten percent of the assessed valuation of all taxable tangible property, as shown by the last completed property assessment for state or local purposes, within the city or county. Any city with a population of three hundred fifty thousand or more inhabitants shall appoint a citizen advisory committee composed of members of each council districts on proposed neighborhood improvement district.
