Terms Used In Missouri Laws 80.610

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.

Whenever the county commission shall dissolve any corporation, they shall appoint some competent person to act as trustee for the corporation so dissolved.
