Sections 71-8201 to 71-8253 shall be known and may be cited as the Statewide Trauma System Act.

Trauma: means a single-system or multisystem injury requiring immediate medical or surgical intervention or treatment to prevent death or permanent disability. See Nebraska Statutes 71-8232
