Member shall mean a person who has qualified for and been admitted to membership in a licensed organization pursuant to its bylaws, articles of incorporation, charter, rules, or other written statement for purposes other than conducting activities under the Nebraska Bingo Act. Member shall not include social or honorary members.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 9-215

  • Bingo: shall mean that form of gambling in which:

    (a) The winning numbers are determined by random selection from a pool of seventy-five or ninety numbered designators. See Nebraska Statutes 9-204

  • Licensed organization: shall mean a nonprofit organization or volunteer fire company or volunteer first-aid, rescue, ambulance, or emergency squad licensed to conduct bingo under the Nebraska Bingo Act. See Nebraska Statutes 9-213
  • Member: shall mean a person who has qualified for and been admitted to membership in a licensed organization pursuant to its bylaws, articles of incorporation, charter, rules, or other written statement for purposes other than conducting activities under the Nebraska Bingo Act.   • Person: shall include bodies politic and corporate, societies, communities, the public generally, individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, and associations. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
