As used in this chapter, ‘wholesale dealer’ or ‘wholesaler’ means a person licensed to sell liquor as it is originally packaged to retail liquor stores or to another licensed wholesaler, or to transfer malt beverages and wine to an estate distillery pursuant to NRS 597.230 and 597.240, respectively, but not to sell to the consumer or general public.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 369.130
- liquor: means beer, wine, gin, whiskey, cordials, ethyl alcohol or rum, and every liquid containing one-half of 1 percent or more of alcohol by volume and which is used for beverage purposes. See Nevada Revised Statutes 369.040
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
- to sell: means and includes any of the following:
- wholesaler: means a person licensed to sell liquor as it is originally packaged to retail liquor stores or to another licensed wholesaler, or to transfer malt beverages and wine to an estate distillery pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes 369.130
- wine: means any alcoholic beverage obtained by the fermentation of the natural content of fruits or other agricultural products containing sugar. See Nevada Revised Statutes 369.140
