For each health care facility which is located in a county whose population is 100,000 or more and which is licensed to have more than 70 beds, the Division shall:

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 449.2428

  • county: includes Carson City. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.033
  • population: means the number of people in a specified area as determined by the last preceding national decennial census conducted by the Bureau of the Census of the United States Department of Commerce pursuant to Section 2 of Nevada Revised Statutes 0.050

1.  Ensure the general compliance of the health care facility with the provisions of NRS 449.241 to 449.2428, inclusive, including, without limitation, those provisions relating to documented staffing plans and written policies adopted pursuant to NRS 449.2423; and

2.  Adopt such regulations as are necessary or appropriate to carry out the provisions of this section.
