Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21-I:50

  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
In the case of any employee of the department of employment security where the federal government has determined that the state classification system does not meet federal standards, as required by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 282-A:115, the provisions of the federal standards applicable to a merit system of personnel administration in state employment security agencies shall be controlling and the state classification system shall not be applicable in any such case insofar as inconsistent with the federal standards.
