The commissioner of transportation may adopt rules, under RSA 541-A, relative to:
I. Establishing standards for private water supplies affected by highway construction or reconstruction, as authorized by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 228:34.

In determining such criteria, the commissioner shall consider the anticipated road, traffic, and weather conditions that indicate that the safety of the public will be increased or the likelihood of damage to roadside objects will be reduced by providing a police escort.
XVIII. Establishing and maintaining wildlife corridors and habitat strongholds as defined in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 207:1.
