Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 317-A:32

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • Forgery: The fraudulent signing or alteration of another's name to an instrument such as a deed, mortgage, or check. The intent of the forgery is to deceive or defraud. Source: OCC
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
Any person filing or attempting to file as his or her own the diploma or license of another, or a forged affidavit of identification or qualification, shall be deemed guilty of forgery.
