Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 395:29-a
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation: A government corporation that insures the deposits of all national and state banks that are members of the Federal Reserve System. Source: OCC

Notwithstanding any provision of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 395:27, 28 or 29 to the contrary, any deposit account in any institution, the deposits of which are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or any other agency or instrumentality of the United States of America, may not be reduced without the consent of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or such other agency or instrumentality.
