- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 12. a. Upon the application of any person who owns a limousine service, the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles shall issue special registration plates bearing the word “limousine” in addition to the registration number and other markings or identification otherwise prescribed by law.
b. The special registration plates authorized by this act shall be issued upon proof, satisfactory to the director, that the applicant has complied with the provisions of article 2 of chapter 16 of Title 48 of the Revised Statutes.
c. The fee for such special registration plates shall be $10.00 in addition to the fees otherwise prescribed by law for the registration of such motor vehicles.
