- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
- Department: means the department of agriculture. See New Jersey Statutes 4:10-1
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
There is hereby appropriated to the State Department of Agriculture the sum of $15,000.00 to carry out the requirements of this act for the first year of its enforcement and such sums as may thereafter be included in any annual or supplemental appropriation act.
