The state transportation commission, appointed by the governor and confirmed by the senate, shall serve at the pleasure of the governor. Transportation commissioners, appointed and confirmed by the senate pursuant to Subsection B of Section 67-3-4 N.M. Stat. Ann., shall not be removed without prior approval of the senate.
