Any person who fails or refuses to make any report required by this act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 69-3-6 to 69-3-9 or who knowingly makes a false report of any information required by this act is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).
