§ 2906. Hospitals included. As used in this article, the term "hospital" shall include public health centers, diagnostic or treatment centers, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and chronic disease hospitals as defined in section six hundred thirty-one (i) of the federal public health service act, as amended, tuberculosis, mental, chronic disease, and other types of hospitals, including laboratories, out-patient departments, nurses' homes and training facilities, and central service facilities operated in connection with hospitals, but does not include any hospital furnishing primarily domiciliary care.
