§ 266. Continuance of rules and regulations. All rules, regulations, acts, determinations and decisions of the department of public works and the superintendent of public works pertaining to the functions herein transferred and assigned, in force at the time of such transfer, assignment, assumption or devolution shall continue in force and effect as rules, regulations, acts, determinations and decisions of the department of transportation until duly modified or abrogated by the department of transportation.
