As used in this Article:
(1) “Commissioner” means the Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 106-1066
- Commissioner: means the Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-1066
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-1066
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
(2) “Department” means the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
(3) “North Carolina Sweetpotato Quality and Branding Advisory Council” means the advisory council established pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 106-1070
(4) “Person” means an individual, partnership, corporation, association, or any other legal entity. (2020-18, s. 6; 2020-80, s. 2.7(a).)
