Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.13
- Commissioner: means the North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.7
- Warehouse: means any building, structure or other protected enclosure in which cotton is or may be stored for hire. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.7
- Warehouseman: means a person licensed by North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to engage in the business of storing cotton for hire. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.7
The Commissioner, or his designated representative, may, after opportunity for hearing has been afforded to the licensee concerned, suspend or revoke any license to any warehouseman conducting a warehouse under this Article, for any violation of or failure to comply with any provision of this Article or of the rules and regulations made hereunder, or upon the ground that unreasonable or exorbitant charges have been made for services rendered.
