Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.28
- Person: means an individual, partnership, firm, corporation, association, or two or more people having a joint or common interest. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.7
- Warehouse: means any building, structure or other protected enclosure in which cotton is or may be stored for hire. See North Carolina General Statutes 106-451.7
Any person who shall violate any provision of this Article or who shall engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practice in the operation of a warehouse licensed under this Article shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. (1987, c. 840, s. 1; 1993, c. 539, s. 786; 1994, Ex. Sess., c. 24, s. 14(c).)
